Why I Built REVIVE
Most fitness apps give you a generic plan and leave you to figure it out yourself. The ones that offer real coaching cost a fortune. I wanted something in between — real AI-powered guidance and personalisation, at a price that anyone could access.
I've always loved the gym. Training has been a big part of my life — and after losing my mum, I knew I wanted to build something of my own. Something I could be proud of. Something that could help other people the way training has helped me get through hard times.
I had no background in software development. I learned everything from scratch, using AI tools to help me build what I had in my head. What started as an idea became a full app with AI coaching, Apple Watch integration, HealthKit, Firebase, subscriptions and more — all built solo, all from the UK.
REVIVE launched on the App Store in 2026 and is now live in 175 countries. Every update, every feature and every fix comes from one person who genuinely wants to build the best fitness app on iPhone.

Firebase
Member walls for Founder, Platinum and Diamond members are powered by Google Firebase — real-time, fast and secure.
RevenueCat
All subscriptions are handled through RevenueCat and the App Store — trusted by thousands of apps to manage in-app purchases securely.
React Native + Expo
REVIVE is built with React Native and Expo — the same technology stack used by major apps including Facebook, Instagram and Shopify.
Security First
Your data stays on your iPhone. AI requests are processed through a secure server-side proxy — the API key never touches your device. Payments are handled entirely by Apple.
